The patented blade quick-loading mechanism is operated by a smooth-running, rail-controlled thumb button. After removing a used blade, depressing the slide, and pushing the blade back, a new blade is loaded from the magazine.
Each magazine holds 5 blades of any type, while the lower "magazine tank" holds an additional 10 blades. This means that each magazine has a whopping number of 15 blades!
